Cipro and Prednisone

I was prescribed prednisone after I stopped taking cipro and took it for 14 days. Is the combination still as bad? I started the prednisone 2 days after I quit the cipro. I took cipro for 4 days for travelers diarrhea. I have had severe pain and swelling in my ankle and have not worked in a month.

I'm not sure what you mean by is the combination as bad. Is it as bad as what? You can't walk, so whatever the combination or not combination was, it seems pretty bad to me!

So, the best thing that you can do right now is to get my book The Levaquin Tendonitis Solution and follow the protocol that I've outlined. It is really the best way to attempt to resolve your issues, since time doesn't seem to be helping.

By the way, not meaning to rub salt in the wounds or anything, I'm really just trying to be helpful and educate you by telling you this, but you really didn't need antibiotics for travelers diarrhea. In most cases, taking a regimen of high dose high quality probiotics such as Prescript Assist Probiotic would have eliminated your diarrhea just as well.

In fact, it's unlikely that you would have got traveler's diarrhea at all if you would have taken probiotics your entire trip. I just spent a month in Mexico and Central America. I ate fruit, washed and unwashed, I drank liquids with ice on a regular basis, brushed my teeth in tap water and, while I bought bottled drinking water, I didn't make any special effort to stay away from tap water or raw fruits and vegetables. I took strong probiotics the entire time and didn't have a single problem with digestion the entire time. Just food for thought to help you and others for your next trip.
