Paradoxical Reactions to Blood Pressure Medication

First it was prednisone, then amlodapine and another blood pressure medication that made my blood pressure higher! Hawthorn Berry also raises my blood pressure and makes me anxious.

I have a question: can paradoxical effect be permanently reversed?

Also, would a blood pressure medication meant to raise my blood pressure lower it instead?
There is nothing online or anywhere about what to do for this other than stop taking the medication. It is so frustrating!
