Severe Body Pain after Taking Intravenous Levaquin

by Joyce
(Sumrall, MS, USA)

I have dealt with a lot of pain for several years due to FMS and CFS, but that is a walk in the park compaired to what I have had to deal with since I was given Levaquin in the hospital and for weeks after I left the hospital. I am a very postive person, but still there are times I just want to give up because a human can only take so much pain.

In fact my pain level is affecting my blood pressure, because anytime that my pain level jumps so does my blood pressure. I have others contacting me because they are also starting to experiance some of the same things that I have had to deal with for several years now.

I am looking forward to hearing back from your company because I want to be able to give these other people that contact me so light at the end of the tunnel, but right now that light is hard to see if you know what I mean.

Fibromyalgia and CFS and then Levaquin..
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

Hi Joyce,

That sounds awful. Ugh... The fact that you were already experiencing Symptoms of Fibromyalgia as well as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Symptoms would have made me tell you to NEVER EVER get Levaquin or any of the Quinolone antibiotics in the first place.

If you read my pages on the Fibromyalgia Cause, you almost certainly had severe nutritional deficiencies that predispose you to problems with the Quinolone Antibiotics. I would recommend that anyone with Fibromyalgia and/or CFS NEVER take these drugs.

In addition, there is a very real possibility that you ended up with at least some of your symptoms of Fibromyalgia from Quinolone antibiotics in the first place. Nearly everyone with Fibromyalgia/CFS has a history of infections that were treated with antibiotics at one time or another and Quinolone antibiotics may have been one of the initial problems that started the whole effect in the first place. Adding more Quinolones on top of that is not going to be of help for your pain.

So, if you are looking for some help for this, I suggest that you get my book The Levaquin Tendonitis Solution in order to counter the effects of these medications. In addition, many of the solutions in the book are actually the same solutions that I use to help my clients with Fibromyalgia/CFS and I believe that you will find that your overall symptoms of both problems are improved with the protocol.
